PrivateOpps is going Private soon,See news:
Dear Participant,

After much consideration and as a direct result of the recent difficulties we have been experiencing due to spammers and DDoS attackers, PrivateOpps is finally going private!

We consider this step as an opportunity to further improve our service to existing members, and continue to operate without any interruptions by malicious users who want to see us (and your money) disappear.

Therefore, effective immediately, we do not accept new members until further notice. Perhaps next month we will re-open our doors on an invite-only basis, but for now we wish to focus on serving our existing 6,300+ members.

This morning we have begun to work on a secure, private, web-based interface for all existing members to use, replacing our current public website and members area.

To protect the new platform from malicious users, access will be granted to existing members only (based on a unique Username/Password for each member) through our very own offshore Virtual Private Network (VPN) servers. This will finally stop all DDoS attacks and service interruptions due to false spam reports.

We have put all resources into launching it as quickly as possible, and we estimate that the new platform will become available to existing members early next week (April 5th at the latest).

During this one-week period, we will keep our regular website offline, as it will most likely continue to attract various attacks and thus slow us down significantly.

This means that access to accounts will also be temporarily unavailable - as well as Unit redemptions, purchases, deposits, and withdrawals - until we move to the new private servers.

Please keep in mind that the private clubs will continue to operate as usual, and interest will be paid Monday through Friday as it always has. Unit redemption orders that are currently pending will be processed as scheduled, but, of course, the funds will only be available for withdrawal when we are back up.

The past week and a half have been very stressful for us, and I'm sure many of you feel the same. We wish to thank you all for your continued patience and support.

We look forward to a prosperous year and the peace of mind that the new system will give us all.

Please check our website next week for any updates (it may, however, be unavailable at times as Internet Service Providers continue to take it down after receiving false spam reports). In any way, be rest assured that we are very much alive and continue to work on PrivateOpps' future.

We will keep everyone posted (via email) about our progress as we enter the weekend. Yahoo/MSN users: remember to check your Bulk/Spam folder often, as sometimes our emails end up there.

Also note that our Support Desk will most likely be very busy answering emails in the next few days, which may result in unusually long delays in getting back to you (2-4 days).

Hi guys! I've been waiting all week to write this newsletter! Apart from our tremendous growth in the past few weeks, I am also very happy to see the emerging community of discussion board members. I truly enjoy spending time on our forum now that more and more people are visiting
and contributing. I would like to once again thank the "regulars" for taking the time to assist other members. I truly appreciate your efforts.

As I'm sure you have noticed by now, ARB.I is selling out fast once again. The second batch of 30,000 Units was released less than a week ago, and already 10,000 of them are gone! That is in addition to the 45,000 Units that were purchased since ARB.I went online 6 weeks ago.
Be sure to read below about our recent changes to the Unit Redemption process, made effective immediately to allow our private clubs to efficiently sustain the growth of our member base. (3) Latest Debit Card updates

I'm happy to let you know that we will start taking pre-orders for our Debit Card product(sign-ups only, no fees collected until fully operational) as early as April 10th.
This is what we can tell you so far (additional information to be released by the end of the month):

While we will not be issuing the cards directly, PrivateOpps will have complete control over them, enabling us to fully integrate the card system into our existing trading platform and offer quick funding processing. Stay tuned!

(4) Changes to our Unit Redemption process

PrivateOpps is growing rapidly (over 5,500 members as of early March) and becoming ever more popular. We currently handle over a thousand transactions per day (Unit purchases, redemptions, deposits, and withdrawals) and continue to hire more staff and add various
technological advancements to help handle the increasing work load. This also requires us to make changes to the program from time to time to ensure the longevity and stablility of our program.
Beginning March 5th, Redemption orders will be processed within 6
business days.
This change became necessary in order to significantly reduce the
private clubs' overhead and allow for sufficient time to efficiently
take funds out of the market and ensure their availability for
fulfillment of future withdrawal requests.
This will undoubtly increase the productivity and efficiency of all
private clubs. Moving forward, they will be able to maintain better
money management practices, as the new policy provides a clear outlook
over the amounts to be withdrawn from the markets almost a week in
advance.
Please note that our Participant Agreement has been modified accordingly
(Section 6.2 now reads "within 6 business days" instead of "within 12
hours or less") and made effective immediately.

This is one of several upcoming improvements slated to be introduced later this month. PrivateOpps continues to provide its members with a state-of-the-art investing platform that is second to none, and is growing stronger each day.

(5) More on e-gold withdrawals

Our new transaction engine is coming along nicely and is already integrated into roughly 70% of the accounts! The remaining accounts will be added in the next few days.
Coupled with the benefits of the new Unit Redemption procedure, our new transaction platform handles the e-gold reserve accounts far more efficiently than ever before. This means increased withdrawal limit thresholds and near-instant withdrawals (for security reasons, all withdrawals are processed within 1-5 minutes by our automated robot, residing on an off-site offshore server).


(6) PrivateOpps does not give in to extortionists!

Every now and then we receive emails threatening to "expose our scam" or "reveal bad evidence" if we don't give in to blackmail demands. Sometimes they even threaten to take us down with a Denial of Service attack (which we are well protected against, thanks to BlockDos.Net'ssolutions).
Take a look at a recent email we received from a known abuser and long-time extortionist - "procyborg":
"I have also another solid proofs that u are a ponzi and Im preparing to tell everyone the truth!!! I will start my campaign against u soon.The people must know that PO is BS !!! I will posts it on all big forums and rating sites.I ensure u that my campaign will be effective
and your PO will collapse soon.No more M$ hehe. So if u want to cooperate with me u have 2 choices:
1.tell me thet u are a ponzi and I wont tell that anyone.
2 or pay me some money than I will keep in secret my solid proofs."

And later on...

"My proposition is :send 500$ to egold account: 1806066 (progres) and I wont tell anyone about my DD process on you etc simply I will forget about you. If u want to last longer and to gain more M$ than cooperate with me. Hyip industry is fun and business is business."
Needless to say, PrivateOpps does not negotiate with cybercrooks. Wehave reported this abuser to e-gold's Due Diligence Unit, who willfurther investigate this matter. While it may result in this malicioususer going around spreading lies about us, it is important to have a strong foundation from the get-go. If we silence him today with $500 -where does it stop?
What I find quite funny is the fact that this guy is asking for $500.ONLY $500? Instead of looking for illegal ways to supplement his income,why doesn't he open up an account with us, invest $250 and double itwithin a few weeks? This is truly beyond me.

(7) Which new feature would you like to see next?

At PrivateOpps, we constantly work to improve our range of services and quality of trading platform. We recently posted a page that lists all the projects we are currently working on. Yes, my friends, FIXED-ODDS.III is slated to be added to our system later this month. However, by the time this newsletter was published, we still did not receive the final details of the new Contract from the private club. As soon as we have more details (within the next few
