Sorry, but you're not going out on much of a limb, there. The connotation with a woman who's a self-identifying feminist is that she's an unkind, loud, overzealous person. She will often be shut down the moment the word is mentioned. All her points are deemed invalid, and she's assumed to hate men ( please ) and hate anything traditionally feminine (as if doing so is exclusive to feminism, or a bad thing?) The connotation with a man who's a self-identifying feminist is a guy who wants girls to like them. That's about it. Wow. This was the most ignorant bullshit I've read this month. Golly, what a solid and intelligent counter argument!! You have swayed me (p.s. It's October 1st) ...
