Rockstar Games has confirmed they're re-releasing a high-definition version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on the Xbox 360 platform on October 26. The announcement follows a leak of the title's list of achievements as well as the sudden disappearance of the Xbox Originals version of the game from the Xbox Games Store on Xbox 360. The game will now be sold as a Games on Demand title for Xbox 360 and will retail for $14.99. The port of San Andreas will run in 720p and will include an enhanced draw distance. It will also include a full set of achievements players can earn through various methods while playing the game. If you happen to have owned the Xbox Originals version of GTA: San Andreas, your save files won't be compatible with the newer Games on Demand version.
